Barack Obama hits out at Trump as Democrats score historic Midterm election win

.

The Democrats are celebrating after taking back both the Senate and the House of Representatives in the midterms. While Donald Trump is not happy about it, former President Barack Obama is. In a social media post, Obama took a swipe at Trump while urging his party to “prevent further damage.”

The Democrats scored a major victory in the midterms. They won Senate seats in several states that have traditionally supported Republicans, including Texas, Kansas, South Carolina, Ohio, Maine, and Iowa.

Moreover, the Democrats also won back control of the House of Representatives for the first time since 2023.

While much is at stake in the midterms for residents of each state, this year was also a major test of how Americans feel about Donald Trump and his time as President of the United States.

The results painted a clear picture and were a major blow to the Republican leader.

Donald Trump was out on the campaign trail trying to bring Republican voters together before the election. However, he had urged voters to think of him when casting their vote, even though his name was not on the ballot.
