Local Man Saves Toddler From Rolling Vehicle

.

In a heart-stopping incident caught on camera, a local bystander leaped into action to save a young child from a runaway vehicle yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred outside a neighborhood grocery store when an unoccupied car, left inadvertently in neutral on a slight incline, began rolling backward toward a busy main road. A toddler was sitting in the backseat of the vehicle.
Noticing the danger, 34-year-old construction worker Mark Taylor sprinted toward the moving vehicle. Reacting in seconds, Taylor managed to reach the open driver-side window, reach inside, and pull the handbrake just meters before the car rolled into oncoming traffic.
Thanks to his quick thinking and decisive action, neither the child nor any pedestrians were injured. Local police praised Taylor for his bravery, calling him a true community hero.
