“Most Hated Person in Hollywood”

One of the most adored figures in Hollywood at one point was Whoopi Goldberg.

She worked on movies like Ghost and The Color Purple when she was at her best. She performed stand-up for Jerry Lewis annually and had a recurrent part on Star Trek.

Then it took place. After she accepted a position on “The View,” things took a turn for the worst. In fact, her peers just elected her “The Most Disliked Person in Hollywood.” According to former producer Joe Barron, “they have a hard time finding guests to come on the show; they have to beg people who are in town filming because nobody who lives here will give them the time of day.”

After initially appearing in a secret journal distributed to Screen Actors’ Guild members, the poll was made public online and has since become notorious. 82 percent of those surveyed said that Goldberg’s “nasty disposition” was the reason they voted for her.
