My friends don’t believe me when I tell them how things used to be. They think I’m making it up or exaggerating. But it’s true — back then, my mom used to rinse dirty cloth diapers in the toilet, squeeze the water out with her hands, and then put them into a diaper pail to be washed later.
There were no disposable diapers, no fancy cleaning sprays, and no shortcuts. It was just part of everyday life. Moms did what they had to do, and somehow, they managed to keep everything running. Looking back, it sounds unbelievable — but that’s how things were, and those were some tough, dedicated moms.
