Emotional impact: 10-year-old wows with national anthem, brings tears to grown men

10-Year-Old’s Powerful National Anthem Performance Leaves Audience in Awe
Instilling a sense of patriotism in children from an early age is essential, helping them understand the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy today. One meaningful way to honor the brave men and women who fought for our country is by standing for the National Anthem. Sadly, this tradition is becoming less common among younger generations.

“The Star-Spangled Banner” has a rich history. Officially adopted as the United States’ national anthem in 1931, its lyrics come from the poem Defence of Fort M’Henry, written by Francis Scott Key in September 1814. Inspired by the sight of the American flag standing tall after the intense bombardment of Fort McHenry during the Battle of Baltimore, Key’s words symbolize resilience, strength, and unity.
