We allโฃ have โsmall hobbies โthat bring us joy and take us away from our everyday routines. Some โpeople love cooking, whipping upโข delicious meals in the kitchen, while others find pleasure in knitting cozy sweaters or makingโ homemade sausages. Sometimes, what โstarts as a fun activity can turn into โขa way to earn some extra cash.
Story 1:
I met this guy โฃand we hit it โoff quickly.โ He invited me over โขto his place. I went to the bathroom toโ wash my hands but found no โtowel! When I โขopened the cabinet, I sawโ a bra inside. Confused, I asked my โboyfriend,โ โWhatโs this about?โ He calmly replied, โJust donโt mess it up; I need to send it toโข a customer.โ Turns outโฃ he was making custom bras! โฃAt first,โฃ I wasnโt sure about it but after seeing hisโ mannequinsโ and workspace, I felt kinda embarrassed.โ In the end though, we partedโค ways notโ becauseโข of his job โbut because โขwe justโ didnโt click.
Story 2:
My neighbor is 78 yearsโ old and lives by herselfโa sweet lady forโฃ sure! Recently, a young man started visiting her which seemed fine until one day I heard yelling comingโฃ from her house. Worriedly, Iโข knocked on her door and theyโ were calm inside. Suddenly she opened the door wearingโฃ a โคkarate outfit! She wanted to try something โnew atโค her age โฃwhile this guy was teaching herโฃ different โคmoves!Storyโข 3:
One day on my train rideโ home from work, Iโm crocheting a sweaterโmy way of relaxingโค duringโ commutes. Out of nowhere,โข the manโข next to me kept staring and โinching โcloser! Thatโs not what I needed right thenโฆ โคBut then I noticedโ he had a knitting bookโ inโข hand; he was just watching โขme crochet! We ended up chatting โขand got along wellโwe โคstill โขkeepโฃ in touch!
Story 4:
Before my granddaughter turned โfive years old,myโข daughter-in-law called me โคsaying โMyโค kid โคwants an unusual gift for her birthdayโa bat thatโsโฃ bothโ scary yet cute.โ She couldnโt find โanything โฃlike that at stores so she asked if maybeโ Iโd comeโข up with something cool.
Story 5:
My whole family loves campingโgrandma & grandpa plus their brotherโs family tooโmom, dad, aunt โ& uncle, siblings, and their โkids all join in every year โคwithout fail! One month spent outdoorsโ is non-negotiable for us.I โคenjoy nature, camping, cooking overโ fires etc., even if thereโs no hot water or bugs around โฃor ifโ my backpack feels heavier than โขhalf of โme.
But everyโ trip brings wild stories: bears? Sure โthing! A catamaran flipped over? Yep!! Allโค our food โsupplies soakedโข after falling into river? Awesome!
Our tent almost flew away overnight? Totally happened!!โ Got bitten โขby ticks? Hahaโnot even close to being as scary as bears!! You get what Iโm sayingโitโs โalways an adventure.
Every time Iโm back home,I thinkโข โNever again!โโ But whenโค summerโ rolls โaround again,I start thinkingโข โWell,it wasnโt so bad last time, right?โ So off camping again!
Story โ6:
I knit & read books too! Trying out those YA novels โfrom when i was younger โhas been fun.I bought $50โ worth yarn โearlier this month but still have most left so itโll last quite awhileโค longer!
